Values

Demonstrate the love of Jesus. We believe that faith is lived through action. Building from a foundation of Christian values, we serve and work with people of all faiths and beliefs in a spirit of compassion and justice.

Focus on Housing. We believe access to safe, decent, affordable housing is a basic human right. By building, renovating, or preserving affordable housing, through no profit, zero interest mortgages or loans, we strive to make housing available to low-income families of Brevard County.

Advocate for Affordable Housing. We believe affordable housing, in healthy communities, to be a social justice imperative. In all our work, we will advocate to put affordable housing on the hearts and minds in such a powerful way that poverty housing becomes socially, politically, and religiously unacceptable.

Promote Dignity and Hope. We believe in the infinite worth and dignity of every person. Through encouragement of each program client, we focus on building a renewed sense of hope by providing families the opportunity to fully participate in the generosity of the community through their investment of community service hours called “sweat equity.” This hands-on approach makes the services provided an access to opportunity; a “hand up, not a hand out.”

Support Transformational and Sustainable Community Development. We believe we can best achieve our mission through meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships within our community. Building success will be measured by the positive and lasting social, economic, and spiritual change within a community.
